Online Exams

Members can take online examinations at the Training Department Online Testing Center.

Links for the texts for the exams are available on the Member Training page.

The examination component of qualification for MV, IT, VE, can be completed at the exam site.

The qualifications for AUXAPC, the Good Mate, ICS-100, and IMSEP can be completed by successfully answering these online tests. The IMSEP, Good Mate and ICS-100 certificates are emailed to you upon completion. The AUXAPC certificate is presented to you at a flotilla meeting. There is a three hour time limit and it is an open book exam so feel free to consult the text for the course while taking the exam.

For the ICS-100 exam, quite a few questions in the exam will be based on the organization chart (figure 1-1) on page 1-4 of the text. All the on-line exam questions seem to be drawn from the Orientation test starting on page 1-22 of the text. You may want to print the test out and fill it with the answers before starting the online exam.

Auxiliarists are limited to 5 tries at a test per month.
